URBAN PRESBYTERIES NETWORK CONFERENCE

URBAN PRESBYTERIES NETWORK CONFERENCE
Urban Presbyterian Network Conference
July 28, 2022
11:00am (PST)/3:00pm (EST)

The office for Vital Congregations wants to extend an invite to the Urban Presbyteries Network (UPN) conference.
The conference is a one-day event held July 28th in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it will be a
hybrid event with both an in-person component and the ability to view it online.

The total cost is $50 per person or for groups of 5 or more it’s $25 per person; scholarships are available (as needed).
This is being hosted by the Vital Congregations ministry team, but it is not a part of the Vital Congregations Initiative.
It’s something new!

Our aim is to reestablish the Urban Presbyteries Network, as a place for congregations to come together to discuss urban ministries and to pray for one another!  It’s not a network for presbyteries with an urban footprint, but something for all churches to utilize for urban ministry needs.  This can include churches in large cities, and in small rural areas. Many small and rural areas are now facing what was once  urban struggles, homelessness, food scarcity, joblessness, addiction, and many other struggles.  However, in these small towns and rural areas, there are no agencies and the work of ministering to these  struggles often falls on the local church, which may not be equipped or empowered.

Please prayerfully consider joining us on Thursday, July 28, either in person or online, for the UPN conference!
