Leticia Williams was born and raised in Oakland, CA., and has been a member of Elmhurst Presbyterian Church since the age of 14 years old. She has been an Ordained Ruling Elder for 24 years and the Clerk of Session for eight years.
Leticia has over 20 years of professional experience working in the public and private sectors. In her early years, she temporarily worked as an Associate Administrative Assistant for the Presbytery of San Francisco. She then worked for First Presbyterian Church of Hayward as the Membership Secretary while attending Holy Names University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and an MBA. with a concentration in Marketing. After that, Leticia worked as an Associate Brand Manager for Advantage Sales & Marketing and has worked for IBM in the Omni-Channel & Marketing Department as an Account Manager. After working at IBM, Leticia decided to try her hand at Entrepreneurship and now does contract work as a Brand & Marketing Consultant.
Since accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 14, Leticia truly believes in the Trinity and knows that God is the head of her life. As a child of God, she walks by faith and not sight and believes everyone can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens us. Leticia thrives in settings where she can authentically encompass her theory, experience, and Christian beliefs. She enjoys traveling and hosting family gatherings. Leticia is a caregiver with a heart to serve God’s people.
