Please Join the Presbytery of San Francisco’s
21- Day Challenge Gathering
Sunday, July 26th at 2 p.m.
We are grateful to you for having started the journey with us– to engage in anti-racist practices that dismantle unjust structures in our churches, presbytery and nation. One important invitation was to join the 21-Day Challenge that began on July 1st and will soon come to a close. Now its time to gather, share, digest, groan, weep and move towards the intentional work of love, healing and justice.
Rev. Kamal Hassan will help lead us in the first hour, then we will move into smaller groups to share (maybe a line from your journal, a spontaneous question or concern or just sharing your gut-heart feelings from the past 21 days.)
*Please register by Saturday night, July 25, so we can assign breakout rooms.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.*
Here are few resources that should be helpful in our work together:
- PC(USA) leaders will share how they are using Matthew 25 to impact their ministries and communities around the focus of Dismantling Racism. Register here for the ZOOM event on July 29th from 11am-12pm PST
(As a Matthew 25 Presbytery we are being intentional in the work) - Rev. Dr. Valerie Miles-Tribble talk–Change Agent Church in Black Lives Matter Times: Urgency for Action.
